Administrative Assistant

Scharnhorst Ast Kennard Griffin PC (“SAKG”) is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to support its lawyers, paralegals and/or Director of Operations.  SAKG is a boutique litigation law firm headquartered in downtown Kansas City, Missouri.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Support Staff:  Assists attorneys and paralegals with trial preparation, writing of documents, mailing, billing, coordinating calendars, and travel schedule.
  • Front Desk:  Responsible for managing the front desk including greeting guests, parking validation, answering phone calls, and scheduling of conference rooms.

Desired Skills and Experience

An ideal candidate will have recent legal experience, be proficient in using Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and understand basic bookkeeping principles and software such as QuickBooks and TABS III. All candidates will undergo a background check.
