Prior to joining the firm as an associate in 2016, Brendan gained valuable experience working as an intern and contract analyst in the in-house legal department of a large and prestigious engineering firm in Kansas City. His responsibilities included reviewing and drafting contracts for construction projects, developing high-risk profiles for executed master service agreements, and ensuring corporate compliance with state licensing laws.

After graduating from law school, Brendan independently studied for and passed the patent bar examination in his “spare time,” which is a difficult and remarkable achievement.  Brendan is admitted to practice before the United States Patent & Trademark Office.

“I enjoy finding innovative and precise solutions to our clients’ needs.  It is a privilege to work alongside experienced and trusted attorneys as we resolve issues through research, creative thinking, and evaluation of the facts.”

Outside of the office, Brendan enjoys cheering on the Kansas City Royals and Chiefs.  He attends and participates in intramural sports, citywide BBQ competitions, and charitable organizations.  Brendan lives in Kansas City and likes spending time with his family and friends.
