Brendan joined SAKG as an associate in 2016. Prior to joining the firm, Brendan gained valuable experience working as an intern and contract analyst in the in-house legal department of a large and prestigious engineering firm in Kansas City. His responsibilities included reviewing and drafting contracts for construction projects, developing high-risk profiles for executed master service agreements, and ensuring corporate compliance with state licensing laws.

Since joining SAKG, Brendan has counseled clients facing litigation in the areas of business and commercial, construction and design, and transportation. Brendan is actively involved in all areas of the litigation process, including document management and production, taking depositions, drafting and arguing motions, and trial participation.

“I enjoy finding innovative and precise solutions to our clients’ needs.  It is a privilege to work alongside experienced and trusted attorneys as we resolve issues through research, creative thinking, and evaluation of the facts.”

Outside of the office, Brendan enjoys cheering on the Kansas City Royals and Chiefs.  He attends and participates in intramural sports, citywide BBQ competitions, and charitable organizations.  Brendan lives in Shawnee and likes spending time with his family and friends.
