Decoding the Abstention and Preclusion Doctrines: Invoking the Doctrines as a Bar to the Re-Litigation of Claims in Federal Court and Avoiding Common Pitfalls (In-house CLE presentation at Hogan Lovells US LLP, May 2017)

Prior to joining SAKG in June 2019, Cameron practiced at a large U.S.-based law firm in New York where he represented numerous individuals and commercial entities, including global financial institutions and commercial lenders, in all aspects of litigation.

“SAKG’s reputation as a top litigation boutique in Kansas City is well-deserved; its lawyers are talented, conscientious, and committed to achieving great results for their clients. It’s a privilege to be part of the team.”

Cameron has expansive court experience and has successfully argued numerous motions and appeals on behalf of lenders in several state and federal courts, including the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit. While at New York University School of Law, Cameron served as the Managing Editor of the Journal of Law & Liberty.

The choice of a lawyer is an important decision and should not be based solely upon advertisements. Past results afford no guarantee of future results. Every case is different and must be judged on its own merits.
